I had a level 20 Tauren Shaman and a level 16 Night Elf Druid. ^^

Next time I'm being a Blood Elf or Human Mage. I'm not sure whether to be Alliance or Horde though...

i only have horde characters. lvl 9 undead warrior, lvl 2 orc hunter and a now lvl 13 troll mage.
i'm making my mage a frost mage. ice powers or very handy.

How much does it cost a month (Just the original)?

but it is for all the same. you don't buy the game, you buy your account. after that (when you feel it is needed) you can upgrade it to burning crusade and WotL. the monthly cost stays the same.

I always play as ice mages, whenever the option is there. However, I may try to create a frostfire mage, and use Frostfire bolt as my primary attack.
Although, that spell requires a high level to learn, so I wouldn't be as powerful as others until almost level cap. =/

i bet you made nothing else but mages
now it is a frost mage but later on i will also add a fire skill tree. just no arcane stuff. that is mainly PVP stuff.
i use frostbolt as my main attack, and use frost nova when it comes in handy. i do wonder how frost nova can miss. it's AoE damage... and effect.

My favourite Frost spell is the one where you freeze yourself in a block of ice... It protects you from damage, but is ultimately pointless. :L

Oh, and Polymorph (I think) - the arcane spell that turns people into sheep. That's rather fun too.

oh i so like polymorph. now lvl 15 with Dat. when the time comes that it becomes lvl 60, i can use a special easter tome. then i can polymorph others into rabbits =]

So, is it true that you must pay extra for more characters?

@Cormster, Subscription, I believe is about £9 a month. The disc itself will be about £3 in most places, or you could download it for free.

i'm not sure that you can actually buy extra character slots. then again, i don't think someone would be making 20 characters in WoW. that is more likely to happen in champions online.

as for the game, you don't have to pay for it. the game, well... the client is free. all you actually pay for is your account.

also, when you buy your account, just leave it in standard first. the only time you will feel like upgrading your account to burning crusade and/or WotL is when you will actually use the content of it yourself, or when you have reached lvl 60.

I got the game for £20, like 3 or 4 yrs ago.
